The Derby Officials have called in some news to me from the weight scales, 119 Boats took off this morning with no incidents to report, everything went well for the start of the first day of the 2012 Derby, Due to the big number of boats this year the check in where done early and will be the same for tomorow. Fishermen will have a great day as the skies are clear and the sun is shining bright. The First fish to come in this morning at 9:02 am was from team of Jason Desormeaux / Claude Chicoine 2.63 lbs

First Place Team # 7 Nick & Matt Vorloicek 7.89 lbs
Second Place Team # 59 Felicien & Norman Beaupre 5.61 lbs
Third Place Team # (No Results)
