Warning!!! With the Cold weather we just had the demand for Hydro was high and with that Hydro companies need to produce more power to fill in the demand so I noticed that the Steep Hill Dam was crack open to let more water out, Depending How much they did the Water levels on the Magpie Reservoir goes down and we end up with the famous "Magpie mushrooms" Please use caution on the reservoir. The Ice drops down and creates Hills in some area and pressure cracks, when the water drops even lower stumps stick out. Please use caution if you run on the reservoir. We do not stake the reservoir anymore.
On a positive note it is currently -7 and light snow coming down, 2 -4 Cm of snow is forcasted for today and more on the weekend, Plans are to go out on the F trail and head to Doglake, depending on the snow amounts, I will try to make it.
